Pacific Crest Trials: One Man’s Battle Against Addiction, Nature, and Himself

The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is a hiking trail that runs from the border of Mexico, up through California, Oregon, and Washington, all the way to the border of Canada, spanning 2,650 miles. The journey takes, on average, about five months. James Ihrig was in prison, lost in addiction for the last 18 years, when he learned about the PCT - and it lit a fire inside of him. But even as hard as his life had been, hiking the entirety of the PCT would be perhaps the greatest challenge he’d ever faced. How far did he make it? Join him on this incredible adventure to find out. And when you're finished, check out the story of his mentor, Captain Paul Swain - he's got a crazy life journey as well! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4g-WQC6R9o
